prints from the dark room trying to capture movement through long exposure

HI! As you can see from the bottom images I have created a hanging installation based on a loom with two sets of strings which weave in and out of one another. I am interested in moving the strings so that the spaces/volumes between them change[grow/shrink] I also like how if you put many strings [delicate, fine, fragile] together they can create something quite solid and volumous without actually being anything solid at all. I have tried lighting and photographing and have many more thoughts but just feel a bit stuck-so if anyone sees this and thinks-ooh that makes me think of '-----' than please let me know! ta
